The owner named the restaurant “The Bird”, this is an idea when he traveled, and this is also a naughty idea of the boss, to let the customers guess what the real meaning of bird mean.
The decorations here are full of traditional Nyonya style, completely different from the urban style. The most special decor is the bird cage which hangs over the ceiling, yet there are no birds inside to sing. The boss has the sense of arts, in order to create such interesting decoration in the restaurant.
The experienced chef here was Jimmy who is also the boss. His cooking methods more to the fusion style, but he is definitely good in cooking Nyonya dishes. He strongly recommended the “Paku”, a type of wild vegetable which easily found in the jungle. This special dish gives a very unique taste which is very different with ordinary vegetable.
Besides, the “Sarawak Prawn Mee” is quite unique too. The mee or well known as rice noodle is especially made. The texture of this kind of noodle is not soft as ordinary noodle, it can absorb the soup but it will not melt or turn softer. If you were bored of the ordinary Prawn noodle, you can have a try on “Sarawak Prawn Mee”
"Mango Salad Chicken," suits the lady’s appetite, it acidy sour, honey sweet taste will open the appetite of the customers. It also has sesame, cucumber and some of the carrot slide to enrich the taste and gives a refreshing enjoyment!
“Sotong with Special Houses Made Sauce” is also special, the taste like Rojak; it gives better taste with rice. If you cannot eat too spicy, you must point out when you ordered. Besides, here also have Nyonya Seafood, Coffee Chicken Wing and other cuisine! It’s different for every dish. You may come to seek for new taste in here!

“砂朥越虾面”的米粉乃特别订做,不同于一般米粉的是,其质地及口感较粗糙,并且不会轻易把汤底吸干。如果你厌腻千篇一律的虾面,建议你到此一试。
